Welcome to Hope’s Books.

Products

We make every reasonable effort to describe and display our products accurately.

Because colours can appear differently on different screens, the colour of a printed product may vary slightly from how it appears on your device.

Many of our products are printed or produced after an order is placed.

Prices

All prices are shown in pounds sterling (£).

The price shown at checkout is the price payable for your order, together with any applicable delivery charges.

If we discover an obvious pricing error before an order is fulfilled, we will contact you before proceeding.

Placing an order

When you place an order through the Hope’s Books website, you are making an offer to purchase the goods in your basket.

You will receive an order confirmation by email.

We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order where necessary, for example if a product is unavailable, there has been an obvious pricing error or we are unable to process payment.

If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, we will refund the amount paid.

Payment

Payment must be made using one of the payment methods offered at checkout.

Payment is processed securely through our payment provider.

We do not receive or store your full card details.

Delivery

Delivery charges and available delivery options will be shown during checkout.

We aim to have orders produced and dispatched as promptly as possible. Because many Hope’s Books products are printed to order, production times may vary.

Unless otherwise agreed, goods will normally be delivered within 30 days of the order being placed. UK distance-selling rules generally require delivery within 30 days unless another timeframe has been agreed.

If there is a significant delay with your order, please contact:

orders@hopesbooks.co.uk

Cancellations, returns and refunds

Your rights regarding cancellations, returns and refunds are explained in our separate Refund and Returns Policy.

For returns and refunds, please contact:

returns@hopesbooks.co.uk

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions affects your statutory consumer rights.

Faulty, damaged or incorrect goods

Goods supplied by Hope’s Books must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose.

If an item arrives faulty, damaged, misprinted or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible at:

returns@hopesbooks.co.uk

Please include your order number and, where possible, photographs showing the problem.

UK consumer law protects customers when goods are faulty or not as described, and businesses cannot contract out of those responsibilities.

Personalised products

Where a product is genuinely personalised or made to your individual specifications, the usual right to cancel simply because you have changed your mind may not apply.

This does not affect your rights if the item is faulty, damaged or incorrect.

Intellectual property

The artwork, illustrations, photographs, written content, book content, branding and other original material appearing on the Hope’s Books website remain the intellectual property of their respective copyright owners.

Purchasing a product does not give permission to copy, reproduce, distribute or commercially use the artwork or content.

Website information

We try to keep the Hope’s Books website accurate and up to date.

From time to time, information such as prices, product availability or descriptions may need to be corrected or updated.

Liability

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

These terms do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

Consumer contract terms must be fair and written clearly, and businesses cannot use terms to avoid responsibility for faulty goods or goods that are not as described.

Privacy

Personal information supplied when placing an order will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time.

The terms applying to your purchase will be those in effect when you place your order.
