A Note from the Artist:

There’s something extraordinary about orangutans.  Perhaps it’s their eyes, their expressions or the way they seem to look straight back at you with such understanding.

When I draw animals, I love trying to capture more than their physical appearance.  I want to capture something of their character, something that makes you stop and look a little longer.

Orangutans are particularly special because they remind us how closely connected we are to the natural world.

Sadly, these magnificent creatures face enormous challenges as their forest homes disappear.

My endangered animals collection was created to celebrate creatures like these and hopefully, encourage people to appreciate the extraordinary wildlife with which we share our planet.

I hope this orangutan brings a little character and warmth into your day, while reminding us that these wonderful animals deserve a future.
